Moths is a series of fine photographs subtly touching on a theme of platonic love. The entire series is created with edible mushrooms juxtaposed in a certain manner creating realistic collages resembling night butterflies. While I was engaged with it, I was going through an emotionally painful time; for an in depth understanding I recommend reading my poetry about each and every Moth Creation in my fine fArt Zone.

In my professional artistic approach most of the time I literally play with the medium of light using a technique of light painting over an object.
In this series I have focused on an inner experience and was trying to release the pain rather than clinging to it. Moths are very personal yet surely address an experience of many humans.

This series has been C-printed onto opalising metallic paper to augment its wild range of colours I’ve achieved during the creation process.
